Post-Apocalypse
“The Ghost in the Shell” by Lilian Tula
Imagine the world has ended and humankind has ceased to exist. What happens to all the information stored on the internet? Data is stored on physical servers in remote locations. With no one to maintain the machines, the servers would begin to deteriorate quickly. A part of that deterioration is corruption, as the digital fingerprint of mankind begins to degrade in an almost organic manner.
The following are a few images taken from Facebook, Twitter, Gawker and my own website. Each image was purposely corrupted with code to emulate what it may look like in a post-apocalyptic future.
